well..

The game itself was fine, but the load times were terrible. The game is only "80kb" and takes a serious amount of time to load? Hopefully you're drawing assets from an online cache somewhere..

Anyways, art was simplistic and fine. Not much to really say. Everything was kind of generic and the game itself wasn't super addicting or fun.

Yes, it fetches all the game resources: graphics, sounds, music from my web server, those are not included in the main SWF which is 80Kb.

Couldn't figure out how to initiate the game. All that happens is an image loads, and there are no buttons. Couldn't even right click and press play to start it.

The initial file required an external XML file for data. The data has been hard coded into the game now and works as planned.

well..

Would have been hilarious had it said "AVOID THE MISSILES" and no missiles ever came. You know, like in the real 9/11?

What was so different?

This is the exact same game as far as i can tell. Nothing worth resubmitting. Plus, i love how you removed me from the credits at the beginning. Real mature. Did a lot of work with you and enjoyed it; too bad.

I didn't mean to remove you from the credits!! Sorry about that. I think what happened was the line with your name was below the active region of the flash so it got cut off by accident.

Well:

I know i have been an ass about BOA:3, as you used something i gave to you for the game without crediting me(the heart, i think). And i appologize. So here is some fare feedback for BOA4.

Gameplay-The gameplay was ok, but it wasn't that awesome, it seemed to lag a bit even in low quality. I'll just assume thats my systems specs, but i'll mention it doesn't happen very often on any flashes. Aslo, the controls were kind of bad, i hated the WASD+space to throw a nade, sure they are close keys, but they feel awkward. The mouse aiming was pretty nice though.

Graphics- Not to impressive, considering you had that artist who did that short animation on your side. The graphics were pretty bad, and the blood was worse. The thing that stuck out the most was the out of place character. The character didn't blend at all, but from past experiance, i happen to know that YOU do the main character in almost every game.

Sound- Annoying, all of the monsters had some annnoying scream that really made me want to turn off the speakers.

Level Design- They were pretty good, but i hate the sidescroll thing you have been doing ever since the third one. Remember the classic screen by screen ones in #1 and #2? Those were awesome, and they were easy to run, so there was no lag at all in the first two. The only real level i appreciated in this game was the underwater ones, with shark forms of the enemys. That was badass.

I really wish you would have stayed on task, and with a better story man. This is getting kind of bad, maybe you will clean up for BOA5. Wich i know you are going to do ;)

Anyways, my overall score..6/10. Not that bad, i guess.

OKAY NOT TO PUT YOU DOWN BUT THIS SUCKS! not only did you use some lame text to goto the boss stage instead of a door...your collision sucks! u never walk on anything..you actually walk through everything! and you never really encounter a shell from killing a enemy like in the original mario. and your damn mario sprite was huge! it should be around the size of the enemys wich made it even more pixelated then the orginal..so i suggest you use this as a prototype and fix your glitches

Well, in a way it was a prototype. I was eeeing how people would react to a game like this. Now that I know, I can add some more features probably make a few bosses easier. I assure you, version 2 will be much better and more coded.

okay i have alot to say but ill try to kep it short..alright, number 1(this game was way to hard for its own good..there was no easy mode)2(even though it looks like you put a giant load of crap in it...you didnt really change to much for the people but the storys and one move)3(im not into games like this..and even though they have great graphics and such..there boring as hell)thats all i really gotta say, its not the fact u didnt change everyones maps and such..its just BORING!..keep trying though, this was better then most games out there..but still boring.

Work with me here man, if it's THAT boring then let me know why so possible future games can be tweaked to keep me and everyone else happy. It takes time to see the differences between characters, but when you reach their story bosses the differences shine.
